As spring arrives upon the earth, what does she awaken in our hearts and how does she move within our bodies? For 6 weeks, I invite you to join me in following the energies of spring into the vessel of the body-soul to experience ourselves as plants, rooting down and rising up, heeding the invitation of this season. 

Each class represents a carefully crafted offering of music, philosophy and poetry arranged like petals before the threshold of the soul. You can think of them as bejewelled images of light and sound, embroidered with rich symbols of spring, inviting us to enter the dance of spring. Together, we will dance to Rain’s Song and Hare’s Song;  together, we will surrender as the Seed and Blossom Songs wash over us—calling us into ourselves and into the spring unfurling within and without.

Before it erupts everywhere, I leave here before you an early vision of Spring:

“Here is the dawning of the spring where new light rolls over the woods and meadows. Here is the land, freshly washed by the morning sun. Here is a silver cord of small birds, swerving and chattering in loops above the ground. Here is a single brown hare running through the reeds. Here in the distance is a figure following the stream. She is the morning maiden, carried in on the first light. Her skirts are formed from the shimmering greens of sunlit moss and her hair is tangled up with wild ribbons.
